How To Use Barco Clickshare South Africa

Presentation attendance is important for keeping sharp and up to date on topics and techniques. With that in mind, I often attend seminars and presentations on a variety of topics, How To Use Barco Clickshare in South Africa from business development and consultancy to investing and asset management. Most recently, I attended a seminar from David Lerner and Associates on “Building and Protecting your Assets.” While this is clearly a sales seminar, looking to create a buying impulse, it also provided great information and food for thought. Mostly, however, I want to discuss the techniques used in the seminar, as I found it to be very well done.

I will begin by saying that David Lerner is a very polished and entertaining speaker. His use of technology was well integrated with his manner of walking the room. Three video screens were used, Clickshare Presenter View One large central screen and two smaller screens to allow the viewers at the peripheries to see the information clearly as well. On top of this, a wireless sound system was used to project the speaker’s voice effectively. The facility was a moderate sized convention center/ballroom, with a crowd that I would estimate at 600 people.

Utilizing an array of speakers connected to a wireless receiver, and a handheld wireless microphone, every word was able to be heard clearly. Volume and clarity are both key factors for successful speakers. However, it was not so much the technical details which made this a good presentation, it was the presentation style. Mr. Lerner made several overtures to connect with the audience effectively. First, he was adept at using humor, which is often touted as a public speaking tool.

I personally liked his references to Mel Brooks’ movies, as I am a huge fan of his work. Bringing the audience back to those references at points throughout the presentation also created memory points for the audience. This is a fantastic technique for getting an audience to remember key points, Barco Share Price without seeming like a pushy teacher. Mr. Lerner also connected with the audience by sharing details and experiences from his personal life. Humanizing yourself as a speaker should not be discounted; an audience is far more likely to “buy in” to a speaker’s pitch if they see him as one of their own rather than an outsider. Sharing stories that the audience can relate to is crucial, but a speaker must know the audience well enough to make this work. Both the humor and personal connection set the audience at ease and allow for a greater capacity to listen and accept what is being shared without a highly guarded affect.

The facility was a moderate sized convention center/ballroom, with a crowd that I would estimate at 600 people.

Volume and clarity are both key factors for successful speakers. However, it was not so much the technical details which made this a good presentation, it was the presentation style. Sharing stories that the audience can relate to is crucial, but a speaker must know the audience well enough to make this work. Both the humor and personal connection set the audience at ease and allow for a greater capacity to listen and accept what is being shared without a highly guarded affect.

The presentation itself consisted of information presented orally through Mr. Lerner and other speakers, visually through a PowerPoint presentation, and physically through audience participation (question and response). This allows for the greater learning and interest, as it touches on multiple learning styles. The investment strategies discussed were put into simple terms and graphics which could be easily understood. The presentation was laid out logically in a manner that was easy to follow and built from the bottom up. Basically, there are three levels of investment to consider, base-level - safe investment with moderate returns, mid-level - some what greater risk and slightly higher returns and top-level - higher returns and higher risk.

The base-level should be the largest investment amount, consisting of the monies which cannot be risked; the housing, food, and health cost funds. I will not discuss the investment vehicles mentioned as this is not a sales article for the company, but rather a discussion of the presentation techniques used. The mid-level should contain less of the funds, but should only be invested in after the necessities have been covered with safe investments. This level consists of relatively safe investments but carries some risk of loss or lowered returns but a higher projected return. The top-level consists of the smallest portion of the investments, and includes stocks, mutual funds and potential high returns but much higher risk of loss as well. This level should only be filled with cash which can be lost without harming the investor's lifestyle appreciably.

As an MBA with an educational background in finance and economics as well as marketing, the strategies fit well with my own views and do make sense. However, even without that education, the presentation was clear enough and concise enough to be easily understood. I think that this was one of the key strengths of the presentation, it provided information which was interesting for knowledgeable participants but also simple enough for novices to grasp easily. It played effectively for the full range of the audience.

This explanation of the strategy was augmented with specific numbers on returns delivered by various product components. Here, audience participation was a key part of the presentation as well. Many audience members were clients of David Lerner Associates already and had investments in specific products. Their enthusiasm for the products and affirmation of the returns boosts the credibility of the presentation. Due to the numbers of people, it is not likely that they were plants, although that thought would cross my mind otherwise. I should also disclose that I was there because I know people who work for the company and I have the utmost respect for the character of those individuals.

Lastly, certain tools were used to keep audience members from leaving prior to the end of the presentation. First, food and refreshments were served prior to the presentation. This ensured that the participants were comfortable and not thinking about getting food or being otherwise distracted by hunger or thirst. Secondly, desserts were served, and coffee was made available at the close of the presentation. This allowed for the associates to mingle with the participants after the presentation to set up appointments and to discuss the presentation details. This reinforces to presentation and allows for clarification of details where needed.

It also attempts to lock in clients while they are still focused on the presentation material. Finally, a drawing was done at the close of the seminar, after the dessert and mingling, for several items. Only those present would be able to win items. Therefore, an incentive was given to remain in attendance until the end, and the vast majority of those who came for the presentation did remain. As noted, I found this to be a well done presentation and wanted to share these techniques, as they can be readily employed by others to enhance their own presentations and seminars.

Planning A Video Conference

Clickshare Technology review

When considering interactive technology tool rentals, you need to think about how you might use them at your meeting or event. Lets explore four of these technologies: computer kiosk, wireless audience response system, iPad, and Tablet PC.

Computer Kiosk

Computer kiosks function just like a PC and feature an intuitive touchscreen interface. These units are extremely popular at trade shows, association meetings, and product launching events. Some of the applications they are used for are:

  • Internet and email access for attendees
  • Information center: The event meeting services organization can load meeting agendas, speaker profiles, and more on the kiosk.
  • Interactive digital signage to direct attendees to various breakout sessions
  • Event registration and check-in
  • Product and/or service demonstrations

Audience Response Systems

Wireless Audience Response Systems are small touchpad devices used in many meetings and events. Some of the more popular uses are:

  • Product Launching Event: Motivate and engage your audience while certifying learning and increasing retention of key messages.
  • Focus Groups: Give every participant a chance to have their say, providing valuable insight into the thoughts and feelings of the entire audience.
  • Training & Certification: Teach them and then test their knowledge.
  • Hybrid Meetings: Wireless Audience Response Systems can work with live and online audience simultaneously to create the ultimate meeting.
  • Member Meetings, Elections, and Shareholder Meetings: Vote without collecting paper tallies

iPad

When does it make sense to rent iPads? More and more participants do not want to lug their laptop to a meeting, and more and more event meeting services applications are being written for this platform. Some common applications are:

  • ShowGuide application provides conference attendees a convenient tool to navigate conferences without having to carry bulky printed guides.
  • Audio Office Notes uses tags so you can jump to the important parts of an event instantly, without listening to the whole thing.
  • Grupio provides instant access to event details, social networking (Facebook and twitter), live updates from organizers and more. As an attendee, you can access event schedule, sessions, speakers and exhibitors.
  • SoundPaper is the best way to take notes in meetings. It tracks what you type while recording audio, so you'll never have to worry about missing anything.

Tablet PC

When considering whether or not to rent Tablet PCs, think about your audience. If they are primarily MS Office users and have laptops they will probably carry to the conference, you are probably better off renting Tablet PCs and asking them to leave their laptops at home. A Tablet PC can provide your audience with the following:

  • Run all the Microsoft Applications on the Tablet PC and upload it to the main computer or save on a USB drive
  • Annotate Microsoft PowerPoint presentations with the stylus
  • Sketch ideas
  • Create handwritten notes and drawings
  • There is no physical barrier between attendees, unlike a laptop screen
  • A Tablet PC is as inconspicuous as a notebook and the notes are searchable as typed text

A wireless PA system is a tool that can save you hundreds of dollars in wiring and trenching costs in situations where you need to install a PA system in a pre-existing building.

PA systems are very common in auditoriums, churches, malls, construction sites, schools, and many business establishments.  The problem is that not all buildings were wired for system and retrofitting the building would be very costly and messy. Also, wiring gets old and may eventually stop working. This article will give you tips in choosing a wireless PA system that is affordable, easy to setup, and install.

Before you purchase your device, spend a few minutes of your time on studying these tips on how to choose the right one for your business.

1. Some wireless PA systems allow you to use your mobile two-way radios to send out voice messages to wireless speakers. These same two way radios can be used to reply to pages. That gives everyone full mobility.

2. If you have an existing wired PA system, you want to look for a system that lets you wirelessly interface to allow two-way radios to make pages over it.

3. Consider the size of your property.  If you have a farm or a big hangar, or if you have a large property, make sure that you select a unit that has good range.  You can get systems that can reach up to 2 miles away.

4. The loudspeaker of a wireless PA system usually is enough to cover up to 100 feet of space.  But if your area is too noisy, or you just want to widen the coverage even more, you should choose a wireless PA system that allows you to install two loudspeakers on a single unit.  It instantly doubles your coverage area without having to buy the complete set.

5. If there are obstacles that hinder your PA system from receiving signals, then you should also think about buying a unit that supports use of an external antenna that can instantly increase the receiving range of your unit.

6. Carefully plan where you are going to set up and install the unit. If you need to install a unit outside, look for a unit that has a weatherproof enclosure to protect it from the elements.

7. Since a wireless PA uses publicly available frequencies, you'll want a unit that lets you program codes to restrict transmission of signals outside of your network. With this additional security feature, only radios with the right coding are allowed access.

8. If your business requires the installation of multiple wireless PA receivers, go for a unit that has zone paging. A zone paging feature allows you to send your message in different locations without having to use multiple frequencies. This is possible because of a distinctive paging code can be set up on each unit.  With just a single frequency, you can send your message in just one area or you can send it to all units at once.

9. Feedback is the most common problem if the two-way radio is used in the same area as the PA system.  So if you are always mobile and still want to broadcast via the PA system using your two-way radio, then check if the wireless PA system is able to record incoming messages and play them back over the loudspeaker only when the talk button is not being pressed by the announcer.  There are commercial PA systems that allow you to record up to 20 seconds for playback after the message is received.

10. If you are going to use the system for emergency purposes, make sure you have one that has battery backup power so it can make pages even when the power is out.

A wireless PA system is a wise investment for any business that requires two-way communication to employees or customers. It is affordable and it can be quickly installed without tearing apart your property. Just follow these 10 simple tips and you are well on your way to buying the perfect wireless PA system for your business.

With the increasing use of cell phones and computer text messaging, an in-house paging system is still proven to be the fastest and most reliable way to alert and notify facility personnel. The main benefits of having on-site wireless paging systems are:

• Reliability - Poor RF signal reception is a common cell phone issue within many facilities, especially in heavy structured buildings and sub-level floors. Cell phone reception is as good as the closest cell tower, meaning dropped calls and poor reception can be a constant problem for any facility not near a cell tower. An onsite paging system uses a local radio transmitter designed to provide full RF coverage to an entire facility, which ensures reliable text messaging at any time.

• Speed -Text message transmission timing (the time it takes a message to reach its destination) is fully dependant on the service provider and the communication load, explaining why text messages can take several minutes to be delivered. With an on-site paging system, a message is delivered within 2-3 seconds at all times, regardless if it was sent to a single pager or a large group of pagers.

• Safety - Cell phones are a great connectivity tool, but they present a few unacceptable safety and privacy issues. All cell phone activities are tracked and documented by their service providers - information that can find its way into the wrong hands. Features such as built-in cameras, GPS and microphones present great risks for private meetings, information-sensitive work, secured areas, etc. Having an in-house paging system ensures that you are in control over all of your private information. Another safety issue is cell phone radiation, especially in indoor locations with poor reception. Low reception causes cell phones to use their maximum power to stay in touch with the local cell tower, creating more radiation and a larger threat to the user. An in-house paging system functions as a one-way communication link. Since the pagers are only receiving data, they produce no radiation.

• Control - Using an in-house paging system also means having complete control over your urgent messaging needs, instead of placing an outside company in charge. Rather than paying monthly cell phone charges or renting pagers from an outside provider, an in-house paging system carries no additional costs after the initial system purchase.

Today's modern paging systems offer much more than just text messaging. These systems can control products such as alphanumeric LED displays for public areas, wireless speakers for PA voice messaging and wireless strobe lights for special visual notifications. When used together, these products can improve safety and communication in any facility.

While conferencing through the use of the web or the telephone will probably be done through equipment you already have, video conferencing will require the purchase of some additional products. Some companies will need a specialized dual screen display which will allow you to see the other side of the conference on one screen and any charts or reports on the other. If you do not need a dual screen, you may be able to use computer screens already in your conference room, but often a display will need to be purchased to accommodate the demands of video conferencing. A system will also have to be purchased that has been designed with the components necessary for video conferencing. This system should include all of the audio and video components needed as well as any wiring that will be necessary to connect component to the display screen.

This may sound like a hefty investment, but in the long run, it will still save you thousands over travel expenses when sending one or more associates to attend conferences out of state. With today's gas prices, it may also save money over sending associates to conferences in state. The components and displays necessary will be a sizable investment, yet your company can hardly afford to do without. This allows you to communicate with other companies anywhere in the world without having to leave your office.

Once you have all the necessary components for the video conference, you will need to find a video conferencing service to provide you the connection between yourself and the business you're interested in conferencing with. Once you've done your homework and found the service that will provide you what you need at the most efficient price, you can begin to plan the conference. Again, you'll need to choose a time in which you all parties are free and available for a certain block of time. You'll also need to prepare any presentations and visual aids in advance. Once those have been prepared, you can set up the actual service with the service provider. They will provide you with the connection needed and any assistance from an operator while the call is taking place.

The video conferencing services will allow your connection to be made and allow your conference to take place. Pricing is typically done through a monthly charge based on how many participants will be included. Dependent on how many will participate in the conference will decide whether your monthly fee is close to $50 a month or up to $500 a month when you have up to 100 people involved in the conference.

A video conference will give more of a feeling of being directly in the conference as if you're all in the same room. Presentations can be given flawlessly and charts and other visual aids can be included with no miscommunication. The one time investment in the tools necessary for this type of conference is well worth the investment as business can be done easily and quickly through this advanced technology.

These are only some of the basic but very important things you need to take a look at for you to be sure you will have the right system or equipment.

In this article, we will discuss different kinds of audio systems that we all see and make use in our everyday lives. The very first systems we are going to talk about are the wireless intercom systems. Intercoms are very helpful especially in a very large company with large office or factory. This will enable and boost the communication between workers. These gadgets are very portable and can cover great range; they also come with rechargeable batteries. Even if these gadgets are wireless the sound quality are still great.

Another type of audio system is the PA sound system. This type of audio device or system is very useful in many different applications just like in schools, gymnasiums, large meetings and the like. It will also be a great help for you if you need to send important message to a large group of individuals. You can find many different types of this audio system and each offers unique qualities.

Wireless Microphone Systems are advantageous in a variety of applications. At times a full, integrated sound system may not be required, or may simply be unrealistic on a cost basis. It is important to consider the scope of your message and what resources will be needed to carry it effectively to your audience. Wireless options allow for flexibility in movement, layout and activity, while offering professional sound quality. They often allow for a smaller footprint and easier portability and storage between uses. Wireless microphones are often used in instruction, acting and, musical performances, as well as seminars and promotional demonstrations.

Types of Wireless Microphones

Some wireless mics are hand held. The transmitter is built into the body of the microphone in these designs. With the flip of a switch these mics can be activated or deactivated, providing for high ease of use. Such microphones offer some amplification for use with a small crowd. Many singers use this type of microphone when performing for small audiences. This type of microphone offers the ability to move around without being tethered to a base, but may also be used with standard microphone stands. It further offers the option of moving the microphone closer to or further from the mouth or sound source to allow for private conversation during a presentation. Lastly, this sort of device is ideal for audience participation, as the microphone can be passed around to different participants easily to facilitate question and answer sessions.

Another option is a body pack transmitter with a microphone. Transmitters are usually clipped in proximity to the microphone, in an area such as on the user's belt or a pocket. These devices come in a variety of styles and compact sizes. Choices of accompanying mic include headband style, over the ear style, or a microphone that attaches to your lapel or collar. The headband style is often used in active presentations, such as performances and athletic classes which require a great deal of movement. A lapel or collar style microphone is often used by lecturers or actors. This is a far less obtrusive and less noticeable option, which allows audience members to focus on the message rather than the sound system gear.

The body pack transmitter style microphone is designed for hands free presentation. This allows the presenter the freedom to use more options in delivering their message, like whiteboards, pointers, and props to enhance the presentation. For example, if you are demonstrating a process or product and you are constantly straining your vocal chords to be heard, a hands free transmitter/microphone might be ideal. To provide amplification to the sound from a musical instrument, some musicians attach a body pack transmitter directly to their instrument. This can enhance an acoustic instrument's sound without taking on an electronic aspect like an electric guitar or synthesizer might provide.

Where to Purchase your Wireless Microphone

Wireless microphone systems are widely available at retail sound dealers, often at reasonable costs. Many of these retailers do not carry professional portable sound systems, and are not familiar with higher quality sound delivery products. For those in need of amplification without concern for the quality of delivery, these stores offer reasonable options. Examples include small, informal gatherings, children's presentations or private parties. However, it is advantageous to consult with a reputable professional who specializes in the sound system business for professional presentations and activities. Reputable dealers can be found through a trusted friend's referral or through an internet search. Clarity of sound and amplification are equally important when purchasing a wireless microphone system as they are when exploring a full professional sound system. A professional sound dealer will be able to note the differences between the models, the transmitter types and the microphone options available, in order to deliver the system which will allow you to deliver your presentation material in the optimal manner.

With the wide availability of wireless sound delivery options, and reasonable costs, straining your voice is not a necessary part of carrying your message. Be heard clearly and easily with a wireless microphone system from a professional sound dealer today.

Wireless USB card is a wireless network card, which plugs into the USB port of your computer and allows you to connect to a wireless network (Wi-Fi or carrier's cellular network).

Vast changes in Internet accessibility have given birth to wireless connections most anywhere. Wireless Fidelity (Wi-fi) still requires access points to be established and for a hotel to compete, these wi-fi hotspots are a must. Business professionals today are tethered to their offices by handheld devices, laptop computers and computer tablets.

Business people that travel between events, client meetings and branch offices often require overnight accommodations. The hotel that they select must have an easy and reliable access to the internet and if that hotel fails to deliver on this one element, that business person may refuse to stay there again. Therefore, wireless high speed internet in hotels is mandatory for any business event an event coordinator may be planning. Many business presentations today leverage rich media that requires wider bandwidths. Streaming video from the internet and graphic heavy presentations are very common. Hotel owners are always after higher guest satisfaction ratings and must stay on this cutting edge to satisfy the growing demand for more bandwidth.. It is the owner's responsibility to choose the best hotel internet provider for their location. In some cases, the entire network within a hospitality property may need to be upgraded to take advantage of greater connection speeds and wider bandwidth. The fast reliable wireless connections for the hotel business center are just not enough if you plan on accommodating business events at your property.

Sometimes business seminars and educational events may last 2 - 3 days. Some of these participants will choose to stay at your property during this multi day event. For these folks it is imperative that the wireless internet for guest rooms rivals the hsia for hotel meeting rooms. Wi-fi for motels is just as important for that weary traveler who chooses this option. Often a larger host hotel is surrounded by some of these smaller properties. Staying connected to check important emails, complete online reports and interact with the company's Virtual Private Network helps these seminar attendees conduct business before retiring for the evening.

Hotel management should have the network support team provide local wifi installation in their motel. Wi-fi for a business center is also an advantage for the hotel owner. A networked printer can be set up in these secure business centers for guests and visitors but they will still need fast reliable wireless and business center hotspots to connect with these networked printers. Nonetheless, to have the best internet connection either wired or wireless, business owners should consider the speed of the connection and choose the ideal internet service company that compliments your guest's satisfaction for the other areas of your operation.

There should always be wi-fi hotspots for hotel meeting space if you are trying to attract a business clientele. Wi-fi for meeting rooms is measurable and therefore billable to the client if you choose. Most businesses understand that bandwidth has value and most meeting planners expect to see these charges.

By and large, wireless internet connection is a necessity for business, your business and your client's business.

You should also take into consideration your spending budget because these audio devices do not come cheap so you have to make sure that the system you will purchase will meet your needs.

Presentation attendance is important for keeping sharp and up to date on topics and techniques. With that in mind, I often attend seminars and presentations on a variety of topics, Barco Nv Clickshare in Johannesburg from business development and consultancy to investing and asset management.

Three video screens were used, Barco Clickshare Wireless Presentation System One large central screen and two smaller screens to allow the viewers at the peripheries to see the information clearly as well.

This is a fantastic technique for getting an audience to remember key points, Clickshare Wireless Presentation System without seeming like a pushy teacher.

When software is developed and designed, it becomes necessary to test them before running them. You might say many companies do that. When you go ahead to hire a company see that they have the expertise in providing software testing services to the main industries. Talk to one of the professional and ask them what the things they check in the software. Does it includes text on activities like Functional, Regression, Load / Stress, Performance, Scalability, Portability, Usability (GUI), Localization, Compatibility, Configuration, Security, Installation, Unit testing, Integration testing, System testing, and User Acceptance.

Organizing a meeting is very important for business. If the meeting is not talking place in the office you have to choose another venue that has all the facilities and amenities. First impressions are everything and you have to make a good one all the time. Here are a few pointers while choosing a meeting room so you can charm the client right away.

Firstly know the nature of the meeting. If the meeting is informal you don't need a fancy meeting room you can meet over coffee at a reputed hotel or even play a round of golf at the club. But if the meeting is formal and you need to talk about business or give a presentation, you have to choose an appropriate meeting room that will have the right ambience. When arranging the meeting make sure the meeting venue is not too far and you and the client don't need a long commute, this way you save time and energy. It's always better to choose a venue that is close to the metro or bus stop. Always make sure the ambiance of the space goes with the persona of your company. Don't choose something too ostentatious or a venue that is too simple.

You have to make sure that the room has enough space and you won't be crowded with other people at that time. It is said that morning meetings are the best because people are more attentive and productive at that time. Make sure the meeting room you choose can provide you with the basics like tea, coffee, water etc. the meeting room you choose should be well lit and have enough space. If you have a one on one meeting, space is not a big criteria but if you are meeting with a larger group, space should not feel crammed.

If you need any audio visual aid for the meeting, the meeting room should have that the required tools and equipment. Charging points close by to charge the laptop, wireless internet and fax machine just in case you need a fax to be sent. Last but not the least make sure the meeting rooms is economical for you and your company and have all the information you need like payment options, corporate discounts etc. Always make an advance booking so you don't have any last minutes glitches.
